Recommended Makeup for Acne Sufferers

Does Wearing Makeup Cause Acne? In the end, it depends on the type of makeup you're using. If you're confused about choosing good makeup products, Acne Teen recommends Almay branded makeup. They meet all of the requirements that I have mentioned above, so I would definitely give them a try.

Other brands meet those requirements...

Just a heads-up, Almay makeup is not good. I've tried almost every foundation from them and they have awful color selection and no coverage. People are better off with mineral makeup.

Thanks for the information Hillarie. I looked at reviews of these products (because I obviously don't wear makeup) lol. Almay seemed to have the best reviews + it met the requirements, so I posted it. Again, thanks for the heads up.

No problem, but if you want more reviews, definitely checkout Makeupalley. Their reviews might contradict the information you've found for the Almay products.

Oh, I almost forgot... any cosmetic company can label their products as "hypoallergenic" or "non-comedogenic" because there aren't high standards for the cosmetic industry in the US. They have more restrictions in other countries. The fact of the matter is, what is one's person's gold is another person's poison. One product might not break someone out, but that individual that they tested on might have normal skin.

I've been wearing Bare Minerals for several months now and have constantly broke out on my jawline. After doing some research, I found that it is caused by that makeup because it clogs pores. Do some research before shelling out for expensive mineral makeup.
