Rubbing Alcohol Acne

The following post is a guest post!

A lot of people believe that rubbing alcohol is alright to use, if they want to clear their acne. Most suggest using it for a toner, but what they don't know is that rubbing alcohol can actually be bad for THEIR skin, and most of the time, not even work. Although this is generally seen as an ineffective remedy, we do have otherhome acne treatments available.

Some interesting bits of information!
  • Rubbing Alcohol will not clear your skin!
  • Other side effects may actually worsen your acne!

When you are using other things to treat acne, rubbing alcohol might delay or cause the treatment not to work. Therefore you would be wasting a lot of time and money if you are on a different treatment.

Don't use topical treatments with Alcohol!

If you wish to clean your face, instead of using rubbing alcohol, what you should do is get a toner that doesn't have any alcohol in it. There are plenty of toners on the market at affordable prices that will help you. Before you get the toner, check the reviews online and make sure that it is a recommend product.

Personally, I recommend Alba's Hibiscus Toner. It works extremely well!

Final Face Washing Tips

There is one important thing that you should always remember whenever you are about to wash your face. Always make sure that you have clean hands and that you don't have any dirt inside of your nails. It's really easy to forget to check your nails sometimes, so be aware of that.
