There are many different types of acne, and today I want to talk about whiteheads. Whiteheads are probably the most common forms of acne amongst the general population. As you're probably already well aware, these types of pimples are the easiest ones to get rid of. What I mean is, if you know how to get rid of a zit, then you can definitely get rid of a whitehead. Although this is true, they're still very annoying; not like all acne isn't annoying...

Compared to the other beautiful pictures that I put on Acne Teen, I realize that the one to the left isn't very pleasant. Many of us at Acne Teen know this from personal experience. Like it or not, this is a picture of a whitehead. As shown, the skin has a bump or a pimple, with the top of the pimple being white. Hence, the "whitehead."
How do whiteheads form?
According to Acne.Org, whiteheads form when one of your skin's pores traps sebum oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells after becoming fully and completely blocked. Acne.Org also explains that these pimples are okay to pop as long as you know how to do so correctly. Again, see my post on how to get rid of a zit.
