Moments ago, I completed a post that talked about whiteheads, and now I would like to talk about blackheads, or the counterpart so to speak. And you probably guessed it, this week I will be talking about different types of acne. As you probably already know, blackheads are black. They're also a lot more difficult to get rid of than whiteheads.
Picture of a Blackhead
As you can see to the left, blackheads are often in the skin. Usually, everyone has blackheads to a certain extent. Look at your nose for example. See all of those little black dots? Those are blackheads.
How do blackheads form?
According to Acne.Org, blackheads form when pores become only "partially blocked." When this happens, dead skin cells, sebum, and bacteria come up to the skin's surface.
