I wanted to go ahead and leave a quick update. People in India do have acne, and they do know what acne is. It was still a pretty fun conversation though.

No substantial evidence, but definitely interesting...
Although there are likely individuals in India who have acne, I find it interesting that Nick had no idea what I was talking about. Even when I showed him a picture of what acne was, he still had no clue.
As for the map; Maybe not a lot of people in India have computers? I looked for a World Wide Computer Usage Statistics graph or map, and didn't find any current information.

people in india do have acne. I have a lot of Indian friends and everyone of every race has acne. He just doesn't know of it because that picture is of a white person and it shows up much more on light skinned people than others.

lol im from india and i have acne, and my dad had acne too, but a lot of my friends dont, i guess its less common there
Hi I am from India too. Many of my friends have acne. My boyfriend used to have acne too. I too, fortunately, don't have them anymore. I used "Fuller's Earth"(multani-mitti, as we call it here in India) and products that contain "Neem" to get rid of my acne and pimples.
Lol. It looks like my little discovery was a BUST! I'm glad that it's getting attention though. :)
